Guitropolis won't install on your computer.
- Check to confirm your computer system meets the minimum system requirements. The minimum system requirements are listed on the bottom of the Guitropolis box, page 2 of the Guitropolis manual, and the readme.txt file located on the Guitropolis CD-ROM.
- Check to confirm your CD-ROM drive is installed correctly on your computer.

Guitropolis performs slowly or erratically.
- Check to confirm your computer system meets the minimum system requirements. The minimum system requirements are listed on the bottom of the Guitropolis box, page 2 of the Guitropolis manual, and the readme.txt file located on the Guitropolis CD-ROM.
- Close any other programs that may be running besides Mac OS and Guitropolis.
- Check to confirm that 'Virtual Memory' on the 'Memory' Control Panel is turned off.
- If you have 16 (or more) megabytes of RAM, you may allocate more memory for Guitropolis by selecting the Guitropolis icon, choosing 'Get Info' from the 'File' menu, and changing the memory size to 8192.
- Guitropolis may not perform optimally on networked computers. To improve performance, disconnect from any networks that your machine is connected to before running Guitropolis.

There is no sound at all while running Guitropolis.
- Make sure that the volume on your computer and your computer speakers is turned up sufficiently.

There is some sound while running Guitropolis, but there is no narration, song accompaniments, or video sound.
- Check to confirm that QuickTime Version 2.5 (or higher) is installed properly on your computer. (Note: The Guitropolis Installer runs the QuickTime Installer automatically.)

Guitropolis displays smaller than full-screen.
- Check to confirm that your monitor's resolution is set to 640 x 480 pixels, the optimum setting to view Guitropolis.

Why am I getting an "Error -108" or "Out of Memory" error?
- Your system is low on memory. Disable any unneecessary
extensions,and close any programs that are running concurrently
with Guitropolis, including the Chord Computer and/or Guitar Tuner.

I have 19MB free on my hard drive, but the installer says I don't have enough hard drive space.
- Though a standard installation of Guitropolis requires 19MB
of free space, it may be necessary to free several additional
MBs of hard drive space for temporary and support files during
installation.

Why am I getting a 'Floating point coprocessor not installed' error when I try to install Guitropolis?
- Guitropolis requires a 68040 processor or better. Guitropolis will not run on Macintosh computers using the 68LC040 processor. The 68LC040 processor is basically the same as the 68040 except it lacks the floating point coprocessor. Here is a list of Macintosh computers using the 68LC040 processor:
